Understanding Software Link Behaviors & Access Controls

To prevent unexpected browser errors or confusion, here is exactly how Domillio software links operate across public internet, Shopify App Bridge, and Cloudflare Anycast ingress:

1. Shopify Embedded Admin Links (`/app`)

Shopify embedded apps operate inside the Shopify Admin iframe. Opening an embedded URL directly in an unauthenticated tab returns an App Bridge redirect (HTTP 410 handshake) to transfer the merchant securely to admin.shopify.com/store/{shop}/apps/....

2. Storefront App Proxy Links (`/apps/*`)

Storefront App Proxies are routed by Shopify’s reverse proxy network directly on the store domain (e.g. domillio-tax-sandbox.myshopify.com/apps/tax-exempt). They require the store password (chaylo) on development stores, but require zero login on production stores.

3. Subdomain Cloudflare Ingress Routing

tax.domillio.org, cpc.domillio.org, and gpsr.domillio.org are routed via Cloudflare Anycast to active Docker containers. epr.domillio.org and prop65.domillio.org link directly to architecture blueprints while their Cloudflare DNS records are provisioned.
